Once again, the cycling team, ‘Pedalin’ with GP’ is sponsoring a golf tournament to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Last year, we were able to raise more than $25,000 towards finding a cause and cure for MS…Our bike team collectively raised more than $67,000 last year alone! We need your help to keep the momentum moving towards improving the lives of those living with MS right here in our community!

Every week nearly 200 people are newly diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The disease usually strikes adults in the prime of life – between the ages of 20 and 50. One new case of MS is diagnosed every hour. The unpredictably and symptoms of the disease comes and goes, leaving people to wonder, “Will I become paralyzed, blind or have trouble walking? Will I be able to raise my family and continue my career?”

Thanks to significant advances in research, the FDA has approved several treatments that may alter the underlying disease course of multiple sclerosis, and early treatment is critically important. These breakthroughs did not come for free and much more research needs to be completed!

The mission of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is to free the world of multiple sclerosis.
