Virginia Beach Veterans Give Back was started by a group of friends and veterans who, after serving their nation in the Navy for over 20 years, wanted to give back to their local community. The idea was to be a non-profit organization where veterans and their supporters could make tax deductible donations that would go directly to local charities that provide services for those in need.

In our inaugural year we have decided to kick off our fund raising effort with a charity golf tournament on Friday, May 4th, at the Heron Ridge Golf Course in Virginia Beach. All funds and donations raised with this tournament will go to two local charity organizations, We Are VB and Samaritan House. Both of these amazing charities are making a direct positive impact to the lives of those in need in our Hampton Roads communities.

With a sense of service to our nation, Veterans naturally want to make a direct investment into the lives of those around us and make our home a better place to live.
